HR Florida State Council Names GSP's Donna Manion 2019 HR Professional of the Year

Clearwater, Fla., August 27, 2019 - GSP, a leading provider of retail services and solutions, is proud to announce today that Vice President of Human Resources, Donna Manion, SHRM-SCP was named 2019 HR Professional of the Year by the HR Florida State Council.

The HR Florida State Council, a premier resource for HR best practices in the state of Florida annually recognizes a human resources leader who has advanced the profession in a significant way. Individuals nominated for this award serve as role models for the profession, setting the standard for others to follow, and applying their expertise to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Donna leads GSP’s Human Resources team and is responsible for more than 500 employees nationally. This includes GSP’s four regional locations–plants in Clearwater, Provo and Madison plus a corporate office in Clearwater–as well as customer service personnel strategically located across the country to meet client needs.

“I am truly honored to receive such recognition from HR Florida among an outstanding group of nominees,” said Donna. “As HR professionals, it’s important that we continue learning and developing innovative solutions to help support and guide the human resources leaders of tomorrow.”

Prior to joining GSP, Donna was the President of RYB Consulting where she provided management consulting, business development and executive coaching services for several leading Tampa Bay companies. Additionally, she has served as Director of Human Resources for The Tampa Tribune, WFLA News Channel 8 and TBO.com. Donna is Board Secretary for SuncoastHR, a local chapter of SHRM serving Pinellas County.
